Care
To preserve the exquisite softness and integrity of your cashmere, we invite you to follow our care guide.
Naturally Refined
Pilling is a natural part of the lifecycle of any pure cashmere garment and is not a reflection of quality or craftsmanship. These tiny bobbles may be gently removed by hand or with a specialist cashmere comb or shaver to restore the garment.
Cleansing Rituals
Cashmere has natural antibacterial properties, so frequent washing is unnecessary. Often, a simple spot clean with a dedicated cashmere wash, such as The Lab Co may be all that is needed.
When a deeper cleanse is needed, we recommend:
- Hand washing in cool to lukewarm water
- Using a cashmere-specific detergent
- Soaking gently for up to ten minutes
- Rinsing delicately until water runs clear (avoid wringing)
- Laying flat to dry
- Avoiding heat, which may cause shrinkage
- Steering clear of standard detergents, stain removers, or fabric softeners
For those experienced in garment care, machine washing on a delicate wool cycle may be possible. Use a laundry bag to protect your piece.
However, as all machines vary, this method is undertaken at your discretion. Professional dry cleaning is always a trusted alternative.
Preserving Beauty
We encourage you to store your cashmere wrapped in tissue paper with natural cedar balls to deter moths (avoid hanging).

Each personalised cashmere piece is thoughtfully crafted to order and typically dispatched within 2–3 weeks. During peak periods, we kindly ask for your patience, as every item is made with the utmost care and attention to detail.
For pre-order launches, products will be delivered mid November.
Please note, Elizabeth Alexander Baby cannot be held responsible for lost packages unless shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery or International Tracked & Signed services.
Shipping costs may vary for parcels over 2kg. Should this apply to your order, we will be in touch promptly to advise.

Returns
Please note, owing to the bespoke and personalised nature of our creations, returns on these items cannot be accepted. We invite you to review all details with the utmost care before placing your order, ensuring every element is flawless.

For non-personalised pieces, returns remain the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a fully insured postal service to guarantee safe and secure delivery. Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt, in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original packaging.
Please ensure all garment labels remain intact, except in cases of fault or incorrect supply, where your statutory rights will apply.
Exchanges or refunds will be issued for returned goods, minus any delivery and associated costs.
For returns from outside the EU, please mark your package clearly as ‘RETURNED GOODS’ and declare a value of zero.
